Mark this day down... Two huge releases in the Paintball world were introduced Today at Paintball Extravaganza, the Planet Eclipse CS2 and the Dye M3.
Heres what we know now...
Dye M3 will exclude the long running LPR the gun used for the past 15 years. This allows the ergonomics to be updated and the marker to be slimmed down near the front grip. The removal of the LPR also means the gun will be less adjustable and won't allow user error when teaching. Sometimes less is more and the trend has been LPR less spool engines in all the high ends on the market. Another thing to note is an update on the tried and true Ultralight barrel tips.
The M3 keeps the MOS operating system with wireless charging. These electronic features are some of the very best in the industry and while perhaps overkill, isn't that what you want out of a high end marker?
Available and shipping Mid March.
The Planet Eclipse CS2 has been more mysterious in its announcement and the details still elude us now.
For anyone who loves Planet Eclipse but feels the CS1 was too big, the CS2 is for you. The CS2 has been slimmed down in in the front and rear grips. They heard all the complaints and made the CS2 to be a mix of the CS1 and 3.5. The milling has been updated along with the bolt system, and the trigger components. This is a really sharp looking updated and we are excited to hear more.
