Top 3 Beginner Paintball Guns of 2021

Posted on February 14 2021

2021 is here and Punisher's PB brings you our opinion on the top 3 best beginner paintball guns that you can purchase this year!

1. GoG eNMEy Paintball Gun

Our number one beginner paintball gun of 2021 is the often overlooked GoG eNMEy from GoG paintball, the same company that makes Shocker Paintball and DLX Luxe.  The GoG eNMEy is no stranger to the paintball industry as this marker has been around for quite some time.  However, many people have overlooked this marker and its features for the retail price point of $150.  This marker is in the same price point as the Tippmann StormerTippmann Cronus, and Tippmann 98 Custom.

The GoG eNMEy gets the number one spot for a few reasons. First, the GoG eNMEy features a spool valve design with a integrated regulator which allows for the marker to operate at a much lower pressure than some other mechanical markers in the same price point.  The GoG eNMEy's operating pressure is below 200 PSI which allows for the marker to have a wonderfully smooth shot and it is able to shoot brittle paintballs with no issue.  Another nice feature of the GoG eNMEy that gives it the first spot is the price at which you can get these markers. It's closest competitor, the Planet Eclipse Emek, is priced at $100 more than the eNMEy.  This is the only marker below $200 that offers a smooth shot due to a spool valve design. The GoG eNMEy can also be purchase in multiple colors including black, red, blue, and green.  This allows players to really customize their look.  Lastly, the eNMEy features a bolt out the back design.  Simply unscrew the bolt cap and have instant access to your bolt system for maintenance!  The GoG eNMEy can also run on CO2 as well as HPA which is a nice feature. Lastly, the GoG eNMEy features an Autococker threaded barrel design allowing for easy upgradability to a better barrel system, which is a very common upgrade to a beginner paintball gun.

2. Planet Eclipse Emek 100 Paintball Gun (PALS Compatible)

The title for the most popular mechanical paintball gun on the market belongs to the Emek.  The PE Emek has some features that make it different (and better) than the GoG eNMEy, while it loses out on overall price.  First, the PE Emek features a hoseless design, meaning the gas flow from the ASA of the marker is through the trigger frame.  This increases the ergonomic feel of the Emek.  Secondly, the Emek features the PALS compatible loader.  This loader design allows for paintballs to be agitated by a pneumatic function delivered by the Feedneck of the Emek.  This feature cannot be found anywhere else on the market as it is exclusive to Planet Eclipse Emek and Etha 2.  Another nice feature of the Planet Eclipse Emek is the gamma core bolt system.  The gamma core bolt is known for a low operating pressure, smooth shot, and extreme reliability.  The Emek has many different upgradable features including the Deadlywinds Hair valve (making the trigger pull significantly lighter), Emek On/Off POPS ASA, Infamous trigger, a better barrel (due to Autococker threading), and the ST3 soft tip bolt (to shoot the most brittle paintballs).

3. Tippmann Stormer Elite Paintball Gun

Punisher's PB third choice of beginner paintball gun belongs to the newest paintball gun produced by Tippmann, the Tippmann Stormer Elite.  The Stormer series of paintball guns has become very popular with 3 different designs.  The Tippmann Stormer Elite specifically calls our attention for one main reason.  It offers a magfed option for a budget option.  The Tippmann Stormer Elite retails for $199.95 which makes it one of the cheapest magfed paintball guns.  The Stormer Elite allows players to switch between hopper fed and magfed with one simple adapter which is included with the marker upon purchase.  The Stormer Elite takes Tippmann 20 round magazines and is $50 cheaper than Tippmann's other magfed rifle, the Tippmann TMC.  The Stormer Elite is also going to feature flip up sights, a hoseless design, multiple picatinny rails, and a high-impact composite body. The Tippmann Stormer Elite still carries the renowned Tippmann reputation for extreme reliability.

All of these markers are GREAT options for those paintball players that are just getting in to the sport and do not want to spend a lot of money getting started.  These markers are going to be very reliable, smooth, and bring features that other markers in the same price range will not.  Get your paintball marker today from Punisherspb.com!
