The Valken NiMh Power Kit comes with a Valken 9.6v 1600mAh split type NiMh airsoft battery and Valken 8.4v-12v NiMh Fast airsoft battery charger. The 9.6v 1600mAh Split Type NiMh airsoft battery is made from high performance 1.2v cells. This NiMh battery has a slimmer design making it easier to fit into cramped battery compartments. The NiMh nunchuck battery is also easy to charge, and does not require discharging like NiCd battery packs. This NiMh butterfly battery has a long recharge life cycle, and consistent, reliable power output. They are built with 16AWG wiring and include a mini Tamiya connector. The Valken 8.4v-12v NiMh Fast airsoft battery charger is a plug and play smart charger for NiMh or NiCd batteries with 7-10 cells. The NiMh battery charger is easy to use, and charges at 1 Amp with a small Tamiya connector. The NiMh charger also plugs directly into a wall outlet, and a status LED lets you know when the battery is fully charged with Delta Peak Detection. This airsoft charger also features over-charge and over-current protection. We recommend our Valken ASL Series airsoft rifles for use with this power kit.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Watch the 3 safety videos below if you are unfamiliar or new to charging airsoft batteries for safe and proper care, maintenance, and use of all type of airsoft battery packs and chargers.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
Always charge your new battery fully before its first use.
Plug the charger's power into an appropriate wall outlet.
Connect the battery pack to the charger with the small Tamiya connector and make sure the polarity is connected in the right way. Then charging will start automatically.
After being connected correctly to the battery pack, the power LED will turn red, indicating that charging has begun.
Battery pack is at full charge when power LED turns green.
Disconnect battery pack from charger before unplugging the charger from the wall outlet.

WARNING
Do not charge any Lithium battery packs with this NiMh charger.
Never leave the charger unattended while it is connected to power supply.
Never attempt to charge more than 1 battery pack simultaneously from the same charger.
Only use the appropriate charger with your NiMh batteries. Use of other chargers can result in fire, personal injury and property damage.
Never leave batteries and chargers unattended when in use. Always remove the battery from the charger or airsoft gun when not in use.
Always charge batteries in a safe area, on a stable non-flammable, heat-resistant, and non-conductive surface away from other flammable items. Unsafe charging surfaces include, but not limited to, car seats, carpet, bed, or something similar that can heat up quickly and melt or catch fire.
Never allow your battery and charger to be dislodged or fall during charging as this can result in fire, personal injury and property damage.
Never alter, modify or open your battery pack or charger.
Terminate charging immediately when any malfunction is observed.

CAUTION
Before charging complete a visual inspection of your battery and charger. At the sign of any damage or short circuit, do not use.
Never expose batteries to temperatures higher than 160 degrees F.
Never leave your battery in a closed vehicle.
Never use any charger accessory, such as wires extensions, adapters, or multi-connector adapters, that were not included with your charger from the factory. They may not be compatible with your charger and result in fire, property damage, or personal injury.
Any service or modification of any battery must be completed by a qualified dealer or original manufacturer.
Always keep your battery in a safe secure location to prevent damage during transport or storage.
Always keep batteries away from liquids.
Always keep batteries out of the reach of children.

Don't charge the following types of batteries:
Lead Acid battery or VRLA.
LiPo, LiFe, or Li-ion battery packs.
Non-rechargeable battery (explosion hazard)
Faulty or damaged battery.
Battery pack which consists of different types of cells.
Any other type of battery except for NiMh battery packs.
